Kayaking
Kayaking is an ancient fishing activity which eventually became a sport. Aside from being a sport, people consider it as a relaxing and pleasant hobby.
Kayaking is a paddling sport done on open water with the use of a kayak, a canoe type of boat which has a water-tight covering on its deck and an opening for the seat. Kayaking began as a fishing activity thousands of years ago among the Intuits, otherwise known as Eskimos, and eventually became a popular sport in the 90s.
In 1936, kayaking became a part of the Olympics that year, which was held in Berlin. In recent times, people go for this sport to compete or simply to achieve pleasure and relaxation.
